Posted by Rexy on 25 January 201022 September 2023

I officially arrived to the land of my mother and father's on January 26th, 2010. It took me 33 years to do it but hey, I made it. It was our first time in Hawaii and more significantly our first reintroduction to North American culture. When we landed at the airport it felt so surreal that we were actually here.

There are many shops in Kathmandu and in Patan that are fair trade, locally made, and supportive of small communities and women’s groups. Here are some of the most popular stores and our favourite ones both big and small.

Seriously, I don't know where to begin. So much of what I have seen defies description! We landed in New Delhi a day later than expected, so we will have a brief stay in Delhi before we return to Kathmandu.

    • Getting Around the Kathmandu Valley

Posted by Rexy on 2 December 2009
