We survived the 9 hour flight from Vancouver and had an 8 hour layover at London’s Heathrow International Airport. We debated about seeing London during that time and once we arrived we found that it is quite doable as the new Heathrow Express/Connect train to Paddington station runs every 15 minutes. However, we were both completely exhausted and decided to stay at Yotel. It was a neat and interesting experience and I am sure one of us will write about it soon.

We now have a 4 hour layover at Qatar International Airport before our last flight to Kathmandu. Quite a nice set up with various duty free shops, retail stores, wireless internet (slow) and  interestingly enough, an A&W on the top floor.

We are almost there.
