VANCOUVER I Citytv Vancouver has fired Simi Sara and Dave Gerry as co-hosts of its Breakfast Television show, which has been unable to erode Global BC’s dominance in the morning time period in the Vancouver market.

I am very shocked and truly saddened that Dave and Simi were fired today. They were smart, intelligent, and most importantly hilarious people to wake up to in the mornings. I really think it was a huge mistake by your company.
