No, I was not inspired by Big Love but considering how registered midwives are being touted as B.C.’s solution to the maternity care crisis and most of our friends and colleagues recommend using them, especially for first time parents, I figure, why not? Plus, it is covered by our Medicare.
The Midwifery Group located on Main street near King Edward is where our midwives Ruth, Anne, Amelia, and Sarah work. We’ve only had two visits and so far they have been really good – informative and comforting (especially for this first-time dad).
