Personal review:
Keyboard is a little slippery due to sleek design but easy enough to get used to. Well designed/built and extra HP features such as the 5-in-1 media card reader, HDMI output, web cam, 3 gb of RAM, and light scribe / Dual Layer burner is a steal. Remote control is a little flimsy.
Even though Besy Buy sales people don’t work on commission, they must call it something else because they still push the extra warranty on you.
Hello, is this good for gaming? Like the world of warcraft or playing DOTA? Thanks.
Cliff, in my opinion it is sufficient – not bad.
Thanks. This really helped me!
Ok, i ordered this laptop, and when i got it home, it had NO WEBCAM. I am very upset with this, as that was what I was looking forward to most!! Am I missing something? Or was there false advertizing involved, here???
PLUS i had to pay an extra $100 for Best Buy’s GEEK SQUAD PROGRAM. (For them to inspect it.)
Christy, bring it back and get a notebook with a webcam. Sometimes they have other similar models in stock but with one or two less features (ie. web cam, less RAM, less hard drive space, and even a lower quality video card). Also, there is no need for Geek Squad to inspect it (save your money). If you need help with any installation or networking, call HP support as they will gladly help you out for free (a one year warranty support is included). I had amazing technical support from them.
Thanks. This really helped me!
